\r\n\t\t\tPromoting CSR activities of the Toho Acetylene Group\r\n\t\t<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tWith the globalization of corporate activities, stakeholder demands for corporate social responsibility (CSR) are increasing, and the Toho Acetylene Group recognizes that \u201cCSR activities constitute the foundation of our management, and are a crucial element in enhancing our corporate value.\u201d
\r\n\t\t\tWe have consolidated these principles into the \u201cToho Acetylene Group CSR Charter\u201d and are collectively dedicated to CSR activities. We are committed to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility and contributing to the realization of a sound and sustainable society.\r\n\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tInitiatives to strengthen the foundation of our management\r\n\t\t<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tRegarding the environment, under our \u201cEnvironmental Policy\u201d overseen by the executive officer in charge of environmental safety and quality assurance, we have implemented a system that promotes activities such as reducing the environmental impact associated with our business activities, developing products that contribute to social activities, and engaging in environmental conservation activities in local communities through the cooperation of related departments. Additionally, we prioritize the control of the CO2<\/sub> emissions generated by our business activities as a key management objective. We pursue energy-saving initiatives, and strive to reduce emissions to contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society, a societal issue.\r\n
\r\n\t\t\tIn terms of society, we regard employees as our most valuable management resource. We support the individual growth of talent with diverse attributes and values, including women, foreigners, and those with various career backgrounds, and believe that creating an environment in which employees can take pride in our company, engage in activities that provide fulfillment, and achieve self-actualization will lead to the sustainable growth of the Group as a whole. Furthermore, we regularly conduct training on human rights, compliance, harassment, CSR, and other topics throughout the organization to foster a sound organizational culture.\r\n
\r\n\t\t\tFor corporate governance, in order to continuously enhance corporate value, we have established, and continue to strengthen, a system that enhances the effectiveness of supervisory and monitoring functions while ensuring management efficiency, such as by introducing an executive officer system and appointing female outside directors. In terms of compliance, we have established the \u201cCompliance Committee\u201d overseen by the responsible executive officer, to build a group-wide compliance promotion structure and ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and corporate ethics as well as compliance with fair business practices among our group\u2019s officers and employees. Finally, in risk management, we have established the \u201cRisk Management Committee,\u201d under the jurisdiction of the executive officer in charge of risk management, to establish a framework capable of addressing various risks.\r\n
\r\n\t\t\tThe Group will continue to actively advance its CSR activities through environmental, social, and governance perspectives, in order to remain a company valued by society. We appreciate your anticipation for our growth on this journey.\r\n\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n

CSR promotion structure<\/h3>\r\n

\r\nTo facilitate CSR activities as a whole, we have established the \u201cCSR Promotion Committee,\u201d with the Representative Director and Executive Vice President serving as the head of CSR to oversee and manage initiatives comprehensively for all stakeholders.\r\n
\r\nTo remain a company that is trusted by society, the Group will continue to actively fulfill its social responsibilities and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tThe Toho Acetylene Group, recognizing corporate ethics and adherence to the law as the foundation of its business activities and considering it a social responsibility, has established the “Toho Acetylene Group CSR Charter.” We aspire to be a company truly acknowledged by all stakeholders and, with social consciousness, voluntarily take action towards creating a sustainable society.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\t\t
